With Gamefreak's new policy, any Pokemon can be the next Glameow, let's use a Pokemon I like, Silvally as an example. He's a "legendary" wrapped up in Gladion's plotline and there are only supposed to be 3 in existence. He has a zero percent chance to end up in SnS, and an equally tiny chance to wind up in the D/P remakes as well. What the fuck do I do with the lv.100 Silvally that I trained and the Shiny Event Silvally I got? Let them rot in Home?
But this isn't about Silvally, it can be literally any Pokemon that's not Charizard/Pikachu/Lucario/ect.
Pokemon have always been able to be brought over from older games so GF cutting this feature for no good reason is why people are so upset.
