I dont mind most of the designs, i even love trubbish and garbadore but they really threw out the baby with the bath water by forcing me to leave the first 4 gens worth of mons behind. That was my biggest gripe with gen 5, but overall it had many other issues such as rails and hand holding especially in the start(i know other gens also suffer for this)
Unova is also pretty uninspired as a region and id like to have seen more American vibes and larger cities with a more cohesive theme.
