Yuki-onna tempt men to get close to them, kill them, and devour their souls. In Hearn's story, a particular yuki-onna spares a man because she is infatuated with him, but tells him he cannot speak of their encounter to anyone, or else she will kill him. Unbeknownst to the man, the yuki-onna becomes human to be with him. They meet again, marry and have children. The man tells his wife that she reminds him of the yuki-onna he met years ago. She becomes enraged, reminding the man that she warned him to never speak of their encounter. She then goes on to say that she cannot kill him, because of their children, and instead departs forever.
It's the same fucking story, except in PLA the man actually disappears. He didn't fuck a Froslass. He may have fucked a human that used to be a Froslass. What happens to him is left up to the player, but the Pokedex entry for Froslass in previous games tells you that they devour the souls of men; in PLA it says they put curses on men.
Furthermore, the Canalave library book is saying that humans and Pokemon evolved from a common ancestor. They married one another because they were the same beings. Fuck's sake.
