It's important to know what your Pokemon is thinking in battle so that Pokemon and Trainer can communicate against their opponent. When the Pokemon makes a move with out the trainers command, that's a bad sign. A Perfect collaboration between pokemon and it's trainer will result in victory of a battle but without the trainer, the Pokemon will not know what to do. You must remember to use different moves to attack the opponent so the enemy's trainer can know what to do next.
