What legendary/mythical Pokémon do you believe to be one of a kind? You have some like Latias that are stated to live in herds, ones like the legendary birds seem like they could have multiples.
But then you have one like Mewtwo which seem like it might be unique. Then you have weird ones like the creation trio where you would think would be one of a kind yet Arceus can just create new ones.
What do you guys think?

Why didn't Gamefreak bother to make at least a couple more legendaries catchable in the base game? Currently it got less obtainable legendaries than RBY(unless you count the first dlc, then they have the same amount)

This is mainly how I feel as well. Backstories just don't work considering each mon is supposed to be an individual with a different personality from the next (see: natures)

I know this is different from the discussion proposed by the OP but I'll ask anyway: What do you all think about fixed personalities and backstories on Legendary/ Mythical Pokemon?
