When I was in my 8th grade year at middle school, one of the top students in our school always picked on me alongside her friends when I was alone. She was pretty much the pride and joy of our school because of how "friendly, smart, and outgoing" she was. I'm guessing she targeted me mostly because I was small, but also because I got many of the scholastic awards she got during our academic excellence ceremonies. Unlike her, I wasn't a very popular kid, and I had a hard time getting myself to talk to other students back then. Maybe also because I was buddy-buddy with my teachers, but couldn't stand being around my classmates.
After a parent-teacher conference, she was bad-mouthing my mother for her accent loudly in front of our entire class while we were still waiting on the teacher. Needless to say, that made me VERY angry. I didn't want to fight her though, and could only just sink into my chair the whole time. She was with the volleyball team, and was both larger and stronger than I was. Not to mention that if a guy like me started a fight with and got beat up by a girl, it would've ruined my reputation.
I decided that since I couldn't make her pay directly, I'd hurt her in a much more convoluted way. I found out where her locker was, and I was able to plan a path to it from the gym without coming into view of any of the ceiling security cameras. I attempted to swipe a scalpel from one of the labs, but someone had locked them up. I was, however, able to get her locker combination from a sheet that was inside of our homeroom teacher's desk. This was all done before the school day actually started while all the teachers and students were still stuck in the gym.
