>>56245875Because it has a mega and was given away for XY, but not actually a guaranteed choice in Kalos (I didn't use it, I HAD to pick one the Kalos and one the Kanto set to progress the game). That it was the ONLY Hoenn starter to get added to the game needs explanation, especially if they're attempting to clean up the ME lore, given how inconsistent it's been presented. Having it be a potential choice in a Kalos game prior to the Pokémon League's establishment and the decision to specifically hand out Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie to beginning trainers makes more sense than creating three new designs (when design creation is hard - ask Sugi why he couldn't make a mega design for Flygon) or giving any of them regional forms (popular pokémon don't get regionalised. And Blaziken is too popular to trigger a re-design threshold).
But there seems to be a disconnect between people who understand Legends titles are an entirely different series to Pocket Monsters Series and those who don't and the ones who don't seem to be more obtuse as to when this game's going to occur in the overall series timeline. I mean, FIFA was founded in 1904 in Paris, there's a potential for us to see the equivalent Pokémon League organisation body's establishment in the game but you dickheads would rather wank your clits to the thought of it being Pokémon Z at last.
