That, and yes, that's the entire point of the line. Stufful is a cute, fluffy, adorable little teddy bear, which any little kid would instantly pick up and hug- and if you do that, the Stufful will clock you into next week.
Meanwhile, Bewear is a great big mascot costume, and it actually wants hugs. It's just as fluffy, but it's also kinda creepy, because mascot costumes are kinda creepy- that, and it's a fucking Fighting-type bear, so it has the strength of a freight train, so yeah, it crushes spines.
