>>53940081Oh, hey! Well, Emboar is my favorite pokemon because:
1. I like his design. He has a cool flame beard, black coat with yellow swirls and big arms with claws. I generally gravitate towards big, monster-like pokemon like him.
2. He looks menacing, but is pretty much a softie. His pokedex entry states that he's very loyal to his friends.
3. I like his chinese inspirations. He's based on Zhang Fei, a dynasty general in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and possibly Zhu Bajie, a pig demon in Journey to the West.
4. I really love his shiny. Blue flames look amazing.
5. This is the big one for me, but I had a lot of fond memories of using Emboar during Gen 5. Admittedly, it was my first pokemon, but even after all these years, I still love Emboar despite of it's flaws.
