Because its typing appeals to me, and the thought of having 3 Magnemite that can separate at will is really cool. I usually hate most objectmons or 3-mons-stuck-together evos, but I adore Magneton. The design is nice too, the 3 eyes staring you down would be intimidating as fuck. Big enough to make a scene but not so big to be unweildy. It'd be very useful on journeys too, as a scout and as a helper with electrical stuff, charges and all that. Really fucking rad bodyguard.

The eyes could be cool, but the design altogether is really lame. Shitty boring evolution, dull concept, doesn't learn any interesting moves at all, doesn't seem any better than a Rattata or Zigzagoon, difference being Zigzagoon has a unique design that I really like. Come to think of it, I hate most of the early Unova mons outside of the bugs. Pidove and its evos are really shitty too. I might hate Pidove more than Patrat now that I think of it. I got nothing against Unova though, has a bunch of cools mons as well and it's honestly the last region I had fun in.
