We did it lads, updating right after grabbing the 8th badge in my Platinum nuzlocke. Honestly didn't expect to make it this far initially, since I heard how tough Plat was, and I'm shit at nuzlocke. I managed not to lose anyone to Cyrus or Volkner, and had a bit of luck on my side against Cyrus in that he didn't pull off any crits. I'm about to head towards victory road and the league, feeling good about the team.
Cyrus got taken care of by teamwork between Data, LARGE Oink, and Bella. Turns out Cyrus hates Electric, Ice, and Fighting type moves.
Against Volkner, LARGE Oink and Manadnock did everything with Earthquakes. I had Manadnock out when Luxray switched in, and was worried about a potential 4x Ice Fang, since I bet he had it. I switched into LARGE Oink and somehow out-sped it.
I dunno what to expect from the rival battle against Barry, so here's hoping I can keep the team together until the league. I'll update again once I'm through Victory Road, and all grinded up before the league.
