>>38997680>Many of us are rightfully angry about the way Pokemon franchise is being handled. However, in this thread, let's talk about things that made us love pokemon in the first place.Pokemon has always been one of my favorite game series even though I decided not to buy the last two gens.
Collectibles are some of my favorite things in games, and turn-based RPGs are tied as my favorite genre. Naturally Pokemon just appealed to me.
At this point I'm mainly in the franchise because I like seeing the monsters and while others may call them shit I love a vast majority of the designs of the last few games. I hope gen VIII continues to have great Pokemon even though this looks like another game I'l skip out on.
