I didn't finish this, only skimmed it, but somebody apparently had a passion project they had waiting worked on for a year that was largely about Volo though that they posted in entirety at once rather than sequentially or serially. Like a 100,000+ word story that apparently they don't really care for getting views on, truly a labour of love kinda thing. I skimmed a bit and I really like the worldbuilding and lore of trying to create a backstory for Volo and the ancient Celestican people and what caused them to collapse so suddenly, and although Cynthia isn't the main character you get Volo/Cynthia great (x100) grandfather and descendant interactions so that's cool. Just their interactions alone could make for a great standalone fic
