I have no issues with designs which have creative liberties which detract from the real life counterparts when they're done properly but in Eelektross's case it looks like shit.
Its claws and mouth should have looked more monsterous. As it stands now its claws look blunt as fuck (which is the same problem I have with excadrill) and its 'teeth' look like they serve 0 purpose.
I like my Pokemon to look like they can actually fight. Eelektross just looks so fucking unthreatening that the fish monster that you say it's supposed to be doesn't come through.
I'd have prefered pic related.
