Hey /vp/, I didn't know where else to put this, so I figured I'd make a new thread for viability.
Anyways, I just blacked out after my Hakamo-o fainted in battle, and It wasn't yet leveled up to evolve; however, after the black-out screen showed up, the evolution screen showed up. Is this new to Gen 7? I guess it calculated some exp gain upon a faint, which I didn't think was a thing. Not to mention evolution while fainted/blacked-out, which I have never seen happen before....
Overall, I'm just confused on how it leveled up after fainting, any thoughts?
