The relative white share of the population began declining in the mid-1940s after it reached a peak of just under 90%. At the time, only Canada was whiter in the Americas. But that has fallen a long way since, and the white population has been falling in absolute terms (total deaths outnumbering total births) since 2013. Anyone who thinks the white "majority" can last another 20 years at this rate is nuts.
