>>25267160I don't like military mode. I wish we had an option to remove it, like add it to the anarchy/democracy slider, maybe military kicks in at 50% and it still doesn't go fully into democracy. The glitches that it's brought doesn't help either. That being said it hasn't ruined the run nearly as much as I've expected since plenty can go wrong with it.
I'm pretty proud that they've only gone into democracy mode one time (to my knowledge) and only for a few seconds, I would've expected the people who still play TPP to be babies who can't live without it (and there clearly are some if you glance at the awful chat but the ratio of anarchists is high enough to make it a non-issue). The ROMhack has also been pretty fun and I'm excited for when the next twist is (the fact that it was a hack that good hackers worked on is the thing that made me bother to tune in in the first place, I probably would've skipped it like Anniversary Red otherwise).
Overall, as someone who stopped watching toward the end of Emerald, I think it's been fun and I'm glad I decided to tune in. Limiting runs to special occasions instead of running it inot the ground like they originally did has certainly helped it, I think.
