But yeah, any Pokemon not in SWSHIT is gone forever, and the fact that certain combinations of Pokemon aren't possible and won't be possible ever again and this franchise is about to devolve into rosterfagging, and you're defending it? Take at a much smaller, less experienced yet infinitely more talented game developer: the developers of Cyber Sleuth. Each new installment only adds more Digimon. WOW! What a feat! How do you do it you ask? Very simple. They have all the existing Digimon, just like Pokemon does, and rather than rebuild them all from scratch for no reason, they take the already made Digimon from the original base game, and use those Digimon in the next game! SO! The only thing they have to do is create the new Digimon + the new game itself! And all the characters are there. That's what Pokemon did for awhile. Already had a huge roster of characters made and ready to port, all GF has to do is come up with some lazy gimmick like scaling models up, make the region, and make the new Pokemon. Easy, and that's all we got. Except for one thing!
