I love the idea behind Bewear and how they executed it and don't want to change a thing about it. However so many people hate it and from what I read it's due to a lot of them being disappointed about the general direction their long awaited red panda pokemon took. I feel simmliar with Luchatiger. I was waiting for a tiger pokemon and that it turned into a bipedal wrestler was disappointing.
If I look at the big picture though, I must say that the idea behind Litten as a heel wrestler, who said fuck it to the whole hiding his emotions and passionate side shtick from his first stage days, is sound. He's supposed to look like a cartoony muscle man villain and it works. I still think he's ugly, but I can appreciate the idea behind it and in that regard they did a good execution.
