Leading with Cath's Fake Out, and then attacking and switching between Kokka and Aranya to not get hit by Leer-powered attacks, Yungoos eventually goes down without huge damage taken for the team.
Kaija Growls Smeargle's Tackles into irrelevancy, but unfortunately that alone is not enough. She eventually goes down, allowing Cath to come in with another Fake Out, and then duking it out, until Ember lands a nasty Burn while Smeargle is in red. Cath is standing at 1 HP.
With Smeargle outspeeding and now presumably one-shotting everything, the only path to victory I see is to switch to Aranya, have her take the fall and land a crit Fake Out.
The miracle never happen.
However, it turns out that Kokka was able to take an Ember to live, barely, and KO in return.
After the battle, Cath had picked up an Escape Rope. Thanks, I want to die too.
Trying to rebuild here is gonna be hard. However, the next encounter.

Missed my encounter in the Cemetery unfortunately. Found a Zubat in a cave. Won't be a permanent addition, but we take what we get.
We reach the first Trial, and I make a critical error. For some reason, I thought the Totem fight was a Double Battle, so instead of leading with Neidr, I led with Kylfu. I was too afraid of just switching to Neidr immediately, so in hopes of making that safer, we missed some Supersonics.
RIP Kylfu, we barely knew ye.
Neidr proceeded to Intimidate, paralyze and eat a pair of mongoose afterwards.
As we were leaving the Trial, we got assaulted by a future hair criminal.
