Mono types beyond 1st gen have no fucking excuse. That's why I'm so disgusted with gen 2 starters, though they are aesthetically pleasing.
Same for repeating types, shitty stats distributions, or lame movepools.
Without a doubt though, gen 5 is the most fucking disappointing.
2 mono types and the 3rd fire/fighting. Holy shit. The only reason Seperior gets a pass is because he's fucking amazing looking and has the unique Contrary ability from DW.
The other two are a fucking abortions.
