>>445287993. As for the most realistic starter I could get on a short notice, I'd probably go for a weedle and try to build up from there. Depending on how Pokemon work in this world and their intelligence, I'd hopefully have a good beedrill before long that'll be both agile and swift in their strikes. And maybe if they are of the fluffy variety, a good cuddlebug. (Assuming the beedrill I get isn't just a murderous ball of rage and hate like the Japanese Hornet it is based on.) They should also be relatively ease to feed and care for too, so I won't have to worry *too* much in trying to keep us both fed and healthy. Assuming the err towards being more human like in both their demeanor and behavior as time goes on with their trainer, then perhaps we'll both have ourselves a decent niche and a mutual relationship that gets something out it for the both of us.
As for what we would do from there on out, that would depend on what else there would be to do and how the world will change around us.
