Overall I prefer it to Platinum but only barely. It edges out because of the Elite Four rematches being really good. Gym Leader rematches are also way better. In Platinum they only have 3 mons. In this game they have proper teams now.
They also fixed the ball stickers feature so it's easier to use and you can copy other trainers stickers. So the feature is actually usable instead of some shit you'll never try out.
Battle Tower is actually really good, it's the best Battle Tower we've had. If they had added the Platinum features it would be the best Pokemon game to date. Underground is good for replaying with different teams, forced EXP share is a bit annoying though.
It feels like Masuda or someone was intentionally gimping BDSP, while someone else was trying to save it. No Origin Form Dialga/Palkia is weird when Legends Arceus was released around the same time. The game has almost nothing over Platinum at first glance but once you dig into it it's a better game... barely.

I like them a lot more than ORAS but maybe it's because I had high expectations for ORAS since Hoenn is my favorite. Way better than SWSH. I find them way too overhated but that's me.
