>>53693053Pretty much this, not saying the Ice Type is perfect as is, but the main issue really is not balancing the chart as much as actually designing Pokémon with this frail but offensively strong type in mind, such as they did with the new legendary Weavile clone in this generation which proves that this isn't a doomed type in itself.
That said, defensively nerfing Water Pokémon is something I'm not against, though I'd probably try to remove some resistances before actually adding a full on weakness to a very common type.
