Went into Violet blind and just picked whatever mons I thought were cool while levelling/evolving new stuff for my dex, this is the team I finished with; an entirely unbalanced mess of dark, ghost, fire and steel. To make it worse my 6th slot would have been Ceruledge if i'd managed to figure out how it evolved sooner.
Chi-Yu was mostly a last-resport option that I didn't use for any of the major fights, I managed fine with these 4 + whatever happened to be in my final slot at the time. Honourable shoutouts to Pawmot, Finizen and Iron Treads who were regular teammates along the way.
