It was supposed to last around 3 rounds, with most pokemon squaring off in the first round. Voting lasts one week, and then the winners are announced, and the poll would move on to the second round.
First round resulted into Toxicroak winning against Lucario almost throughout the week. The day the winners for round 1 were supposed to be announced, the site was suddenly down. A week after, it was reset, where Lucario won first round and (Mega) Lucario eventually won the whole thing.
