>>49585234I liked the trainer house. That's all. I missed not having it. I know they have the same feature set and I did like secret bases a LOT, but since less of my classmates and friends had R/S compared to G/S/C I don't think I ever got to use the secret base battles or other multiplayer features more than like 10 times.
>>49585266Caves are just more inherently interesting to me. Besides that though, sea routes are restricted to essentially water pokemon and wingull, there's far less trainers and frankly water routes are just boring to traverse. One mode of transport and one view 90% of the time. Hoenn was fun to explore but I can't pretend the sea routes didn't dampen my fun, as a kid it was also tiresome to explore because much of the water looks the same and I'm pretty sure I ended up going back on myself at least 100 times like an idiot just trying to find everything there.
>>49585296I enjoyed those areas, still doesn't change hoenn feeling like a small region. Also disagree on it being 'the best victory road'.
>>49585329Why didn't they use a palm tree model or something else instead of evergreen? Was such a bizzare choice. Fortree was supposed to be this jungle-type area but on R/S it felt to me like a regular forest.
