And he sent out a fucking Electrode. With Sonic Boom. Not usually a devastating move, but this early on it absolutely was.
I Sand-Attacked the shit out of him, but it didn't help much. I confused him with a Supersonic from Lime, but he hit all 5 turns. No self-damage. It could have very easily been a full-team sweep had he just used Sonic Boom, but for whatever reason he didn't.
Gary's Eevee went down a lot easier. (I didn't randomize his starter either)
It sucks to have a loss so soon.
