It's been several years since my last save in Platinum, so I'm starting with a relatively fresh mind. Progress-wise, just earned my 3rd badge.

No issues whatsoever. Apollo (Turtwig) makes this gym a cakewalk.

Zubat almost flinch haxed Poseidon to death. Otherwise, no problem for Apollo's bulk + Curse.

Lucked out big time with not only a Heracross encounter in the meadow, but also capturing it. He learns Aerial Ace at level 13. Enough said.

Almost ended my run with her Skuntank. Those critical hit Night Slashes are no joke, even when resisted. Apollo fell weakening him enough for Hercules to KO the behemoth.

No problem for Hercules and Mithras (Umbreon), every Pokemon was 2HKOed. Had to level him as an Eevee to level 29 to learn a dark-type attack, otherwise we would have had nothing to hit her with.
Hearthome Gym, however, was a nightmare. It be the 3rd gym with all the surrounding routes blocked made the gym troublesome. Mithras was still an Eevee during this time. The worst was the Ace Trainer's Haunter, who knew freaking Shadow Ball. It was a massacre I was not prepared for, KOing my Poseidon (Psyduck) and Eris (Gabite). I thought Eris could outspeed with her +speed nature, but I was horribly wrong. Losing Eris this way really hurt, I could have saved her if I had sent out Terminus (Bronzor) instead. These were huge losses. I replaced our fallen Poseidon with Neptune.
