I made a type chart based on physique structure alone, and made elemental powers just into attacks like sound. In this kind of Type system you could have an Amorphous/Null/Digital or ??? type that describes abnormal creatures like blobs, cells, or artificial beings that don't bare "naturalistic" traits like other mons do.
