>>45891561It all depends on how many resources you use for the game. Even something as simple as turning EXP Share on is a huge difference compared to let's say XY or ORAS.
And while the trainers are often worse than what you find in tall grass, you do have stuff like perfect IV and EV on every boss and boss trainer,
>Smeargle with Ember/Water Gun/Leafage with Technician in very early game.>Hala spamming Power-Up Punch>Sina and Dexio with Glaceon and Espeon after just the first island>Totem Wishiwashi, Lurantis with extra speed, Synthesis, Solar Blade and White Herb, Salazzle and Mimikyu totem fights that either end in single turn or two or you will be annoyed>Hau's Raichu spamming PsychicNone of these can end up being a pain if you're lucky, overleveled or just if you're prepared for these, but I do hear every once in a while about people having issues with these. And that's not counting USUM's Furfrou and Necrozma.
