The moment I saw this thing in the leaks, I wanted to add it to my team, and how could I not? An Ice/Fighting yeti crab sounds like the coolest shit ever. Now keep in mind, all I spoiled myself on from the leaks is the Pokemon themselves. I had no idea about anything else
So I get Sun on release day, and of course the moment I can catch a Crabrawler I do. And it does pretty well early on, and I'm thinking "Oh man this is gonna rock when it evolves"
And then I carry it to the 2nd island, and it's still not evolved. And then to the 3rd island, and it's still not evolved. And then to island fucking 4 and it is STILL a goddamn Crabrawler. By the end of island 2 Crabrawler was starting to really fall behind. By island 4 it was practically dead weight (like the Rockruff that somehow remained unevolved until said island), and I'm starting to get worried. Did I miss something? Did I miss an evolution item or forget to teach it some move?
But then I get to the Pokemon League and finally, FINALLY it evolves. And just when I'm ready to have it wreck havoc at the E4 and make up for all that time I spent hauling his slow unevolved ass around, the E4 fucking curbstomps him because it turns out ice/Fighting is absolute DOGSHIT into the Alola E4, so this slow fucking piece of shit just did nothing while Muk+Mudsdale carried.
Fuck this crab. Waste of a cool typing and waste of a cool fucking concept
