I started to hunt pic related on my other 3ds simultaneously as a sort of break so 1. I can have a non Gyarados/Glitch ditto gen 2 shiny, 2. I could get something for BDSP that has the Game Boy icon and 3. I can get a Totodile. Yes I used Ditto but I wasn't expecting him in the 2nd egg.
That said, outside of stantler maybe, I'm not gen 2 breeding again, it's too slow for my liking.
