Show me one support for that sentence "Mew gave birth" that suggests it was live and not an egg. Show me something that suggests Mew isn't like a echidna, or a Platypus or those species of snakes who lays eggs that immediately hatch live young.
You can't because the sentence has no context, its worthless. It could just mean that Mew laid an egg.
