This gives Onix the same BST as Steelix in the same vein as Scyther/Steelix. It also gives it a niche as one of the few actually fast rock types (It is already decently fast and canonically fast).
The god awful typing still makes Steelix generally better, but Onix is still very viable.

With stab Head Smash and Rock Head it is pretty scary. Movepool is already very nice with Dragon Dance, Body Press.

Pokemon being made of rocks is fine.The perfectly flat surfaces, rounded corners and painted-on details on Stonjourner makes it look less rock-like, and more like it is made out of plastic or filled with air.

There is absolutely no good reason that Allister and Melony's aces aren't Runerigus and Frosmoth respectively.
I know they don't have gigantamax forms, but that could have been easily remmidied by just giving them gigantamax forms.
It's not like a Pokemon's place in the meta hasn't been affected by the gym leader it's used by before. (Pic related)
