The doubly annoying thing is that it's not like his hands were tied and he just had to increase the size for the sake of action, the dinosaurs in the movie are actually based on a real dinosaur called Deinonychus, which was as big as person. And there are even bigger raptors, like the Utahraptor, which was seven meters long and would fuck a nigga up. So it isn't like there were no good dinosaurs to work with, he just used the wrong name for some reason. I've never understood why they did that, maybe it was a mistake in the original book.
