Would it be possible to create a system where trainers would actually be able to win with their favorites? Besides dreaming about it.

I was testing radar mechanics in Santalune, seeing what kind of patches would break the chain and whatnot, so I was breaking them often.

Started a chain with Pikachu. Right afterwards, on the second chain, a shiny patch appeared. I think the shiny music might have been playing, didn't really pay attention. All right, wasn't really looking for a shiny Pikachu but sure I'll take it. Caught it.

Then I ran to the third patch which broke the chain. By reflex I soft reset the game.
