Like... to keep it from spiraling out of control. I've seen people already begin to speculate about whether CP will inflate so far out that go the way of, say, the Neopets economy (to use one comparison), and that makes me wonder. I'm more into collecting than battling for GO (I wanna get my old LeafGreen gang back together), but it's a thought.
