It's been almost 7 years since I regularly read fanfictions, but this is actually intriguing me to start reading again.
I remember reading a lot on that one Cave of Dragonflies website. And another that always stood out to me was this one I found on
fanfiction.net where a bunch of rich kids were on a reality TV show where they raised their first Pokemon on an island. I always loved reality TV premises when I was younger. I wonder if there's any modern fics doing similar things.
Also, do any of you have any good experiences doing long writing roleplays? I've always preferred that over fanfics for Pokemon because I love the RNG aspect of your character's available Pokemon choices, but with the state of most forums these days it feels like the only way I'll be able to get my creativity flowing again is by solo writing fanfics.
