>>31827031I think Raikou/Electrode is better than Raikou/Magnezone atm simply because it's faster to set up, more flexible and lets you use some clutch hand disruption by burning your prize count down by 1 or 2 then dropping an ace trainer.
Like with Magnezone you need to have some combination of a magnemite, rare candy, magnezone and/or ultra ball with cards you can afford to discard to get one online. Electrode, if you have a voltorb or electrode and a level ball in your hand you have 2 energy the next turn.
I use 4/4 for consistency (one disadvantage of electrode is you're vulnerable to flare/enhanced hammer plays) but you could also 2-2 or 3-3 and put more elecrtic energy and max elixirs in place of electrodes.
I have a 75% ladder win rate with this deck with about 100 games, and I've never placed below 2nd in a tournament I've joined with it.
