They aren't even particularly edgy, Incineroar is canonically a good-hearted Pokemon that loves playing the heel but is good to others and Pangoro has a code of honor and hates the types that prey on the weak. Even Scrafty, while violently defensive of its territory, is said to be very protective of its friends and family, and presumably acts so defensive to protect them. Sableye is said to live a quiet life in dark caves, and really only has its reputation suffer from bad rumors; it's also one of the few Pokemon that does not explicitly gain extra violent or asshole tendencies on Mega Evolving. Hydreigon and Honchkrow, I'll grant you, but even Honchkrow isn't really by choice; Ultra Sun makes it clear that it has to be so unforgiving with its followers because it couldn't maintain order otherwise.
