He reveals his master plan, like all Pokemon villains do, which is to use the machine he built to amplify Darkrai's powers to cast a nightmare on all of Sinnoh. He's already captured Darkrai, the machine is already built, and he's even captured Cresselia and stripped her of her wings.Cyrus tells you outright that he's going to fire up his machine atop Mt. Coronet because it's going to be symbolic, he even tells you when he plans to do it as he laughs and challenges you to try and stop him. The day comes and you make your way up the Mt. to stop him, and as step foot on the summit, the weird flute that the Protag. of Gen IV, who you view as a hero and bumped into at the start of your journey, starts to echo hollowly...
