I fell for the hype folks go a new phone just to play this game finally got outside meet alot of new people and while that is great and all I reached level 15 and finally had enough and uninstalled this piece of mobile crap. this game is literally everything wrong with modern gaming and it saddens me to see so many including myself fall for the hype.
Where I even start with this game. I'm sure everyone knows this game is just a reskinned version of ingress one was a niche game and the other a smash hit. I guess this just proves you don't need an original Idea just the right IP attached to your product to get people to lap it up but no that ain't even the worst gaming sin this game has to offer. It shits on a great game series and dumbs it down for casuals. Why even allow us to choose a starter pokemon if it's just gonna be transfered for candy. There is no wild pokemon battles. instead you flick balls at pokemon that's about it. gym battles are a joke and I don't foresee battles between other players going any better. And from what I've read once you get past 20 this game becomes masochistic with it's xp curve forcing people to pay dish out or be left behind. No one 30+ has gotten their naturally. I expect most people will quit playing once they hit 15-20 like myself. and while marketed as a great way to go out and get some excersize the fastest xp is to sit by 2-3 lured pokestops all day. and I know I mentioned this earlier but the battling system is shit. like real shit you get 2 moves almost no strategy is involved besides using your Highest CP pokemon the mainline pokemon games had such an amazingly well balanced battling system but instead we get this shit. just ugg.
But the worst part is the incredible success that such a shitty game that I wouldn't even call alpha has managed to achieved. It'll prusuad nintendo and every other gaming company to making really shitty mobile games of beloved IP's
I'll probably be banned but I just needed to rant.
