I didn't like gen 6 because everything felt like it was made for the main story. Almost all locations hold nothing special after going through them once. I'm not complaining about the lack of post game but there was nothing significant about any of the locations that made me feel like coming back to it.
Along with all the handholding, linearity, and the shit story, XY fails for me.
Though the pokemon selection and graphics were really nice.
