>>53136119I feel similar in that I don't care for most new pokemon, but why are you hung up on being "in love" with the franchise? Don't you care more about what particular games you enjoy and why? If you don't have friends to share new playthroughs with made up rules, or battles with your own rules just like kitchen table mtg, then I guess replaying could get stale faster. Same for drafting homemade pokemon cubes or deckbuilding for house formats, but imo focus on what you like and can control, not whats "official".
