Before (and after) Legends: Arceus, this piece of shit had (and now once again has) no redeeming qualities. Even in Legends: Arceus, you only ever wanted it for its evolution, which was also pretty bad + ugly.
Basculin is garbage in battle, ugly as shit, is never available early on where it might have actually see some use, and it has the most useless and inconsequential form gimmick ever made. Even with all that, it somehow managed to get into Sword and Shield. Bitches trying to say shit like Maractus isn't worth bringing back need to look at the real garbage dex fillers because at least Maractus has a pretty good design. This ugly wannabe piranha piece of shit is loved by absolutely no one, and if you say otherwise then I'M CALLING YOU A FUCKIN' LIAR BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY ANY AMOUNT OF BRAIN DAMAGE WILL BE ENOUGH TO MAKE SOMEONE PHYSICALLY PRODUCE THE BRAIN CHEMICALS REQUIRED TO LIKE THIS THING.
