It's just a dog but electric which was not only something already done within the franchise, but done so far more interestingly with a more distinguishable colour palette and less overt resemblance to its basis. I swear to fuck if this is ANOTHER Raijū Pokemon I will lose it. In addition, the stylistic choice to have its legs covered by fur could be endearing but it is executed in a godawful lazy way and Stoutland not only already did this, but did so far better. Then we have its smooshed-in face which was probably going for that "ugly cute" pug face but just didn't commit to it enough, it would genuinely benefit from being uglier as at least it'd have some appeal then. The colours are too distracting, there's just so much going on with its face that it's simply annoying to look at. Lastly, more of a problem with the modern artstyle than the design itself but the fluff around its neck being so round and lacking detail is just abysmal - especially so when you compare it to Buizel's rubbery float and realise they will have the same texture being no texture. Rubber and thick fluff should not look the same. I wish Pokemon models had just the slightest bit of texture.
