I haven't been talking about it, but most of the music in this game uses remixes from a youtuber known as GlitchXCity. A remix of the Johto champion theme is used for Meteor bosses, and was also previously used for gym leaders.

Because of the similar styles I got a lot of music confused and thought the game sounded way nicer that it actually was. While most of the music isn't bad, some of it can get really fucking grating.
Anyway, the last of the big gimmicks of the game, PULSE Pokemon. Functionally, boss-only fake megas mimaxed to all fuck. This one in particular is a tank that would make Giratina, Lugia and Zygarde-100% feel inadequate.

Being grass/poison, we have fuckall options for doing residual damage from stuff like poison and leech seed. It takes fuckall damage from even SE attacks too I opt to paralyze it, cut its defense as much as possible with Leer, and go full unga bunga with Ivysaur's Take Downs. It's a fucking close one.
