>>56210032way back 2017 there used to be a group of mystics that did this every night to the city my college was in. the local fb messenger group for raids i joined in that city knows who they are and even one of the "admins" of the group chat was a friend of the "leader" who takes over the gyms in the city at night. so everynight i capture and hold this 1 particular gym that is accesible in the room of my dorm thats named as the university gym and is also accessible in the road.
i held and took the gym back in 10pm and they came back in their bicycles. the 2 hour siege was glorious. then the admin tagged me in the messenger group and said "hey *the group* said you did good holding this shit so you deserved it" and i saw them stop the siege and went away on their bikes towards another gym to take down.
from then on everynight the map is full of mystic gyms besides mine. an instinct one.
Goddamn i miss 2017 pokemon go.
