This thread made me inject a shiny Combee in to one of my save files just now. No one will ever be able tell that it wasn't legitimate. And I won't even use it. Shiny hunting is the pinnacle of autism and wasting time in video games, and I imagine a lot of people assume any shiny they see online is injected unless it's a really shitty random one like Combee.
